Recent studies reported in NYTimes.com have linked cacao to an increase in energy and endurance with exercise. How does cacao boost energy for your fitness workouts? Cacao actually helps to produce more energy within the muscles. The flavanols in cacao have shown to increase the amount of mitochondria production within the muscle – mitochondria is responsible for cellular energy.

1. We take a tall mug of hot or boiling 12-16 ounces – 3/4 filtered water and 1/4 almond milk or milk of choice.
2. We add 1 tablespoon of the Matcha Cacao and stir.
3. It is also delicious when added to a cold smoothie!

That is all there is to it! Simple, quick and tasty. Where the Matcha can tend to clump a bit when mixing, with our Matcha Cacao, the spices and the Coconut Sugar act as a perfect blending agent, so you have no problems with clumping.
